Short Hairstyles For Girls
Short hairstyles for girls are exciting, many old styles, but lots of new twists. There is a strong retro influence from the forties, forties hairstyles were sleek, well groomed and can be dressed up. Short hairstyles for girls are a direct influence from this time, with hitherto bone straight hair getting an added flair by the use of curling tongs to add flips and barrel curls. This adds a new dimension to styles such as the bob, which for some years has been a favourite hairstyle.
Pixie cut is one of the most popular short hairstyles for girls that can be easily styled in various ways. Short pixie can be treated with various colors for giving it a zany appearance. A hairstylist usually employs various styling tools for creating longer and shorter spikes.
It is always advisable to consult a hairstylist for knowing your face shape before choosing any hairdo. You can also search for a makeover tool online for discovering the most flattering short hairstyles for girls.

Glueless, Braidless Wig Application! (yes, you heard correctly)
I'm sure you guys are dying for a way to apply a wig without glue or braids...well, we have the solution! Your wig is sewn-on but without a braid in sight...This means you feel nothing but scalp when you run your hand along the hairline...just like it was growing from your head! With this method we can catch the small hairs along your hairline that would be otherwise difficult to braid, for a super natural look. And guess what????? It lasts longer than the braid.

Another Tight Curl (26") Worn Straight
A couple months ago we had some pics of Natalie's tight curl wig that we had blown out and flat ironed straight. Since I've been wearing a 26" Fijian tight curl (weave) I decided , I too, would like to change it up. I blow dried my hair straight, but unlike Natalie, I used a domed iron (sort of like a semicircular flat iron) to curl my tresses. I have to tell you, I really love the tight curl. It is definitely my (latest) hair of choice, particularly when I am in Miami! If I had a dime for all the "aye Mami!'s" I get. LOL The beauty of wearing our organic hair, is the versatility GOOD hair offers. Unlike other brands, our curls are all natural curls, not processed, permed, or otherwise artificially curled. We don't offer cookie-cutter hair. As such, the hair behaves beautifully, allowing you to style it to your heart's content ;-) We've worn our curly hair bone straight, and we've done our straight hair mega curly. The options are there for you!

DVF Love
Hey ya'll! How was your Tuesday? Is it just me or is this week going by super slow? Anyway, so lately with my looming college graduation, I have been obsessed with building my professional wardrobe. And something feeding that obsession is a fabulous woman by the name of Diane Von Furstenberg. It has always been my dream to own one of her beautiful wrap dresses. So, I've been browsing the DVF website thinking that I might finally treat myself to a dress for graduation. Yes it may take most of my lowly, part-time intern paycheck (I'm finally getting a paycheck!) but I think it's worth it!! Problem is, I can't choose just one! Some of my favs:
*Sigh*
Julian Wrap dress in black
Linda Wrap dress in Bug Shell Blue
Festiva Wrap dress in Wild Quail
Marchmont Wrap dress in Wild Quail
And of course my love doesn't just end at wrap dresses:
Baby Bis Black Pants
Della dress
*Sigh*
A girl can at least dream right? :)
