Hello Gentri Lee readers!!! I am so tickled to be here.
First I want to thank adorable Gentri for asking me to guest post on her darling blog!
I feel like me and her have been BFF's our whole lives and we've never even met.
So thank you a million lollipops, girl!
So hi. My name is Sara Shoemaker, and I happen to love shoes.
Thus, the reason I titled my blog The House of Shoes ;)
{totally lucked out with that last name, right?!}
So anyhoo, let me tell ya a little about my little bloggy.
I've always had a Passion for Fashion. {did I really just say that...}
and so I mostly post about clothes.
I have a 'fashion diary' that I 'write in' frequently too!
Here are some diary entries:
I also love saving money. I'm a little crazy that way. So I've been doing most my shopping at the D.I. lately {which is like a Goodwill}
and turning frumpy 80's/90's apparel into cute updated clothes!
Here's a before and after I did, no sewing machine required!:

This is a little boy's blazer from Walmart
and a shirt from Kmart! |

Oh, and I also got married last September,
to my high school sweetheart William.
The entire wedding was vintage themed! I loooooove vintage.
We found my dress on Etsy and it was actually worn in the 1950's!!! {altered by my mom} |
I also love to do some little crafts. Taking something plain and transforming it into something beautiful makes me so happy. Whether that be clothes, crafts, spaces; I love it!
You could sum up my style like this: Floral, stripes, vintage, ruffles, sparkles, Paris, high heels, thrifty, bright patterns.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek into what my blog's all about! If you're interested in seeing more, you can find me Right Here at The House of Shoes!
Thanks Gentri!
