Successes and Failures of Pinterest

The other day my sister did a "success and failures of Pinterest" post. I loved the idea and thought I'd give it a shot. :) Here are my Pinterest successes and failures:

Success!

  • LOVE this tutorial. Please, if you have sponsors- do this! They will greatly appreciate it! At least I would, and hope that my sponsors appreciate it. It's a little tricky at first (at least it took me a second to understand what exactly I was supposed to do) but once you get it- it's a breeze!

  • This sort of works. If you have a wide toaster- it will work. If it's narrow, it will get cheese on the sides. Just fyi.

  • This recipe definitely lived up to it's claim to be the worlds best broccoli recipe, at least for me. I don't particularly love broccoli, so I enjoyed the added flavors.

  • I saw this on Alycia's blog before I saw it on pinterest. I had fully planned on pinning it myself but it was even easier when other's had already pinned it. Thank you Alycia for the great tutorial! I applied it- and success!

  • Loved this!

Now time for the Failures:

  • I'm sure this works, if you're good at folding. For me it was a total fail.

  • Again, I'm sure if I did this correctly it would actually work. I should probably give it another shot. But last time- it did nothing.

  • I'm sure this tutorial will be great for some people. But for me it just left my hair crispy and frizzy. Even when you watch the video you can see her beautiful hair and then there is the friend who is the example of following her tutorial- and you can see that it didn't work nearly as well for her. I guess some people just aren't meant to have beautiful beachy waves. *pout* (p.s. I was saved by Alycia's tutorial that day)

I've definitely had more successes than failures. So thanks for being so awesome Pinterest!

Have you applied what you've seen on Pinterest to your daily life? What has and hasn't worked?? :)
