Cool Hot Mens hairstyles

I'm surprised that you've never been told before, that you're lovely and you're perfect and that somebody wants you

Happy New Year! I hope you had a good NY Eve however you spent it. The highlight of mine was seeing my dad trash the lounge with pink silly string! Tame but true! I was gonna post some goals for 2011 but they're all the usual boring ones - lose weight, go to bed earlier, drink more water, blah blah blah. The more personal ones will go in my diary I suppose. I've been thinking a bit about what I wanna do blogwise and strangely, I'd like to spend less time online (Ha! We'll see) but also, I'd like to use this space to bung up more random things I like in lieu of having a Tumblr blog. Gloss has always been more of a scrapbook rather than a 'style' or 'craft' blog but I might just crank up the 'scrapbook' aspect for my own indulgence! I know this means that things will be (even more!) hit and miss but hey ho, at least ya'll always been in for a surprise.  I was thinking of doing daily features so ya know what to expect but I always kick against routine! I'll still do the odd outfit post (although, I still feel super akward doing 'em) and the 'out and about' posts but I'm probably gonna also indulge in more 'current inspirations' type posts. Feel like I just repeated myself there - apologies! I've also thought of a new name for the blog because I HATE Glossary! I may switch it all over to a new address but I know that will wreak havoc on blog feeds etc - we shall see. Anyway, I hope you guys have a super 2011 and if you're back at work on Monday like me, best of luck!

Happy New Year!!! Hair Post #1

Happy 2011 everyone! Soooo crazy! But I am Soooo ready for a fresh start! Weird how that little second hand telling you it's midnight can mean so much!

Well lets get started! For January 1st I wasn't planning on going anywhere. Just relaxing at home with my sister, some Costa Vida, and 90210! Woot! So I needed a relaxed hairdo that wouldn't give me a headache, was comfortable to lounge around in but decent enough so I could leave the house if necessary. (I sound pathetic. Hahaha!) Anyways, please excuse the awkwardness and get used to seeing pictures of just me on my blog because here we go!

I chose

my braided headband

This hairdo is great! It's SUPER easy and looks like you spent a lot of time on your hair. NOPE! Takes me maybe two minutes? Plus you don't have to get a headache from wearing a headband all day but it still keeps the hair out of your face! All you do is start a braid at one ear, braid each strand of hair once before adding in the others. Then your going to do what I call a HALF french braid (take note because I use this a lot). You add hair from the front of your braid ONLY and just braid the rest as normal. So braid the back strand of hair, then gather hair at the front of your hairline and add it to the front strand. Continue all the way across the front of your hairline and secure on the other side with a bobby pin. DONE!

The greatest thing about this hairdo is it's so versatile. You can braid your bangs/ baby hairs into it and make it real sleek or leave them out for a more casual look. You can also pull the remaining hair up, curl it or straighten it. Possibilities are endless! :)
Happy Braiding!

Types of Motorcycle Insurance

Motorcycle Insurance is oftentimes confusing and daunting because there is a sense that the insurance company will find some way to avoid paying in the event you are in a motorcycle accident so you may as well buy the cheapest insurance.  Nothing could be farther from the truth and nothing could be farther from the truth about what type of insurance you should buy.

The first question you ask an insurance agent is how much coverage do you think I need.  From this question the agent should be able to ask you questions that will allow him to suggest to you a dollar amount of coverage that will protect you and your family from the devastating effects of a motorcycle crash.  You need to but protection from causing harm to others so they will not be forced to sue you personally and take away all you have worked for.  However, you also need to insure yourself against others not carrying enough insurance when they cause the damage - this is called uninsured and underinsured coverage discussed elsewhere in this blog.

Review of Nivea Nailpolishes, colours ''36 Cardinal'' and ''11 Pure Crystal''

I bought these two nailpolishes for approximately a week ago and I've now been using them since then, so it's time for a review! The brand is Nivea, which is a very very good brand from Sweden. The red one is called '' 36 Cardinal'' and the transparent one is called ''11 Pure Crystal''. I began with applying the red one and when it was dry I applied the transparent for a longer lasting.

I really really like these two products and I definitely recommend them to you all (if they're available where you live)! They dried very fast and the red colour is lovely... They lasted for a really long time (for approximately a week without getting torned out) so I can't really say something bad about them. Love them!:)

I give this product:
