Hair Do?

I got my hair done Tuesday night.

wanna see it??

I like it in the pictures, and then I see it in person and feel it's too brown. Haha! It's melted/ ombre with a darker version of my natural color on top to a caramel color on bottom. My stylist said it will get lighter on the ends- fade, but I'm still worried. I think I want it more dramatic/ noticeable.

*NOTE* I am in NO way saying my stylist didn't do her job. She's FANTASTIC and did an amazing job, I just wasn't clear or sure of what I wanted. It's all my fault.

What do you think?? Should I keep it as is or should I go back and lighten the ends some more? It WILL dry my ends out to do that. But is it worth it?

These are my favourite beauty-tools for my hair. They're all from Goldwell, I really like that brand. I've basically used the ''Goldwell Straight Flat Marvel'', for my whole life and it's great(!!). You just need a small amount of it before using the Flat Iron, and your hair will be perfectly protected from the heat and your hair feels a lot smoother and looks more healty. The ''Goldwell Hair Sprayer'' is a classic for me. It's awesome! BUT: the ''Goldwell Double Boost Root Lift Spray'' is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It makes such a big difference to the volume of your hair and it's a lot more better for your hair than to back-comb it. Okay, all of the products are amazing!

Here's a little taste of how I spent my 4th. Alaska doesn't do much to celebrate the 4th, dumb. It's understandable that they don't do fireworks since it doesn't get dark. But no festival or big parade? I just can't let that slide... haha! So we made our own fun.

First I wanted to show you a bit of me...

I had my hair up in braids, wore my new  Bald Eagle tshirt (what could be more patriotic?), in-between the fun I was decked out in my Alaska gear, and the last picture is of me in front of the Hermione Harry Potter 7 poster (we were there to see Cars 2 though). I was always told I looked like her as a kid. I still get it once in a while. I'll take it!

Enough of me...

After dinner we went on a hike at the Eagle River Nature Center

Isn't Alaska gorgeous?! And aren't those kiddos the cutest?? haha! They were troopers! It rained our entire hike and none of us minded. It was kind of nice. Rain here isn't like rain everywhere else. It's tiny droplets that don't soak you. Kind of a heavy mist. :)
