Wow. So, I took these this morning when I did my hair but I didn't really look at them. I now realize that they are terrible pictures and don't show the hairdo off AT ALL. None of you are going to want to do your hair this way all because of ugly pictures. I'm sorry. Give it a shot still. Don't judge it by the pictures. That was my fault. I would have just taken more but 1. I look ridiculously tired (tuesday's are my busy days) and 2. I already took my hair out... oops.
Any ways. Todays hair was all about braids. (possibly my last braids post!) First you take a small section of hair from just behind your ear (clip everything else out of the way) and braid it. Repeat on the opposite side. Leave them for a minute. Then you take the rest of the hair from the side of your head and use the half french braid style to braid until the side of your neck (repeat on the other side of your head). So you should have two braids with one unbraided section in the middle, plus two small braids on the side of your head. Next you braid the two larger braids with the unbraided section (leave it unbraided). Use a small rubber elastic to keep it together then pin up onto your head. I then like to put a headband on and take the two small braids, criss-cross them and pin them on the other side.
This is a rough version of what it should look like. The first time I did this I got a TON of compliments. So give it a try before you judge. :)
Sorry again for the terrrrrrible pic. I didn't even get a pic so you could see how the small braids add to the headband. Dumb... But there you go.
