These units are completely custom made; the size and shape will vary according to the woman it is being designed for. As with everything at Miss MyMy the design is based solely on the clients needs. Wigs:

Miss MyMy wigs are completely hand tied, each hair is individually hand tied on a the wig cap ensuring the hair will look and move in a very natural way.

Our wigs are made with the highest quality virgin hair from all over the world. The hair has never been chemically processed, the way it was when it was on the donors head is the way it will be on your wig. The hair is softer and lighter, with depth, and all it's natural highlights If you want a color that is not available in its virgin state we will color the hair to your specifications. Our color processing is completely different form having the hair processed on a manufacturing level.
Coloring:
Factory:

In a factory time is of the essence…unfortunately no one has time to watch the hair as it goes through its natural changes during the color process. and stop processing before damage can occur. The factory does not have to worry about skin or eyes etc since the hair is not on your head so they can use stronger chemicals which are very damaging to the hair and drastically reduces the quality and life of the hair.
Miss MyMy:

Miss MyMy uses the same products you would use if you went to the hairdresser to have your hair colored. Our colorist will color the hair as if it were growing form your head which means, it is never over processed and the end result is very natural.

The above hair has been colored cut and styled
Styling:

We do not believe in mass producing wigs that force the wearer into a box. Our wigs are completely custom made, (unless you choose one of the wigs in our showroom). When you purchase a Miss MyMy wig you purchase the type of cap, type of hair and length of hair. Once the wig is completed it will be styled to your specific requirements. Ideally we believe the wig, the stylist and the client should all be in the same place at the same time...with the owner wearing the wig so he/she will know exactly how the wig looks on his/her head but if that's not possible it's great if you can send a picture of style you want...we are more than happy to take before and after pics of your unit.

The Ugly Truth: Men Love Hair Extensions

One of our favorite scenes in Ugly Truth is when Katherine Heigl unclipped to reveal her clip in Hair Extensions. As wonderful as having hair extensions are there is nothing like the feeling of taking your clip in hair extensions off at the end of the night and having a man who still loves you...with or without hair extensions.

To achieve Katherine Heigl's look in the Ugly Truth we suggest our Lord & Cliff One Piece hair extension available in 36 colors at all Sunny's Hair and Wigs Locations.

Is it steamy in here? Indian Hair's Best Friend

We are in the midst of a summer heat wave around the country. We at Sunny's have indulged in frequent pool sessions and an occasional dip in the ocean. All this chlorine and salts can wreak havoc on our Indian Hair extensions.

Well we discovered our new favorite restorative treatment for our Indian Hair: Steam!!!

Steam treatments work to penetrate the hair shaft and deposit the much needed moisture that chlorine and salts strip.

After a long weekend of swimming and sweating we drenched our hair extensions with Portico White Ginger Revitalizing Conditioner and sat in a steam room for 30 minutes.

One word: Amazing.

Our Indian Hair bounced back to life and felt soft.

I have for one very lucky (resident of the US) a lovely summer dress by Mink Pink (courtesy of chickdowntown.com) to give away! all i need from you sweet readers is a tale! since my dentist office encounters with various youth magazine "tales of terror" i've been especially eager to hear all cheek rouging stories. as this is a clothing related giveaway i propose that you submit to me a horrifying tale of wardrobe malfunction! i will also settle for embarrassing boy stories, menstrual stories, ghost stories or a simple explanation as to why you should have this lovely floral frock in your possession. I will announce the winner on 08/02/09!

i have plenty of wardrobe tales to tell (even one from today when i realized my crop top was resting on my breast, exposing my brassiere to any unfortunate soul who managed to catch the unintended exposure before i did). One of my favourite tales took place on a cold wintersday in my charming hometown Ottawa. I was trekking through the snow bundled up in all my winter attire when i was approached by a very concerned looking women who politely stopped me to say "excuse me, but, you have a brassiere attached to your scarf. i'm not sure if this is the look you're going for but i thought i'd let you know." it seems that in some fit of passion i had tossed my undergarment in the direction of my outerwear and the hook had caught onto my heavy knit scarf. i think i muttered an embarrassed "thank you, no this was not intentional" and ran off to the safety of my destination while stuffing my bra into my coat. there are countless more stories involving publicly exposed bum, stepping on the clothing of a companion and exposing their nakededness (while accidently exposing own bum), balled up underpants falling out of pants and of course blood, lots of blood. now it is your turn!
good luck!

Last Little While

So, I still can't get the hang of posting pictures in the correct order. Im not sure I'll ever learn. Oh well. But here's what's been going on the past little while. I've been pretty busy, and I always think maybe my party throwing and busy-ness is done...only to find it's not. That's ok though, I like being busy. :)
Last night manda, melissa and I threw a bridal shower for one of the next brides to be, Michelle. We have so many weddings this summer just from my dance friends, it's crazy. We had the shower at my house and it was a lot of fun! We served chicken salad sandwiches, white chocolate covered strawberries and cookies, a fruit salad, and white grape juice to drink. It was quite yummy! You can see a pic of the bride and groom to be on the table.

I made a banner for the bride to keep. It's fun and easy.

Back when I was a junior in High School, melissa, michelle, brittany and I went to Kmart just because they had the closest photo booth. I remember taking the pictures, and I remember not getting any of them. So last week I asked those girls if any of them still had the pictures. I got a yes from one of the girls who gladly brought them to me last night at the shower. What a treasure these pics are! haha! If you see the other two floating around, let me know!

In anticipation of the new Harry Potter movie being released (which I saw last night! AH! LOVED IT!), I had one H.P. party per week working up to the release. So We started 6 weeks ago with numero uno and worked our way up to seeing the 6th one in theatres. It was a lot of fun! When we had the 5th party, we went all out!:
It was at my friend mindy's home and she has a wonderful theatre room that we got to watch it in. I served CHOCOLATE FROGS! just like in the movie (courtesy of Dear Lizzie!)...

We had cream soda as our butterbeer, gummie worms, pumpkin pasties, and then other yummy snacks.

I decorated it with some halloween stuff and even had these lovely skeleton hand goblets, and dry ice! Good times. :)

On 4th of July Pixie disapeared... =*( Kenna and mom were a wreck. We searched everywhere for her! I got hives from going down in the ravine, went door to door, called dispatch...no luck. I thought she was gone forever. She had been gone since 6 am. We had a family reunion at our house that afternoon, so the searching had to be put on hold. To keep us company, this cute little lady came along. She apparently had followed my neighbors from main street to our neighborhood. She was so cute, but we were able to find her home and return her to her owner. But still no Pixie. When I got home from church sunday afternoon (I didn't get home until 5 because I was in charge of break the fast) Pixie had come home! She was super dirty, thirsty, hungry (but that's nothing new), and completley exhausted. Needless to say, even with her most annoying barking, and whining and begging, we are so happy she is home. :)

A couple weeks ago I was lucky enought to get work off at the last minute and take a trip up to Idaho to visit bestie leslie! It was such a good time! See how happy we are. :)

We saw transformers at the drive in...

Went to a Pirate Party...

Here we are in our Pirate Fantasticness...

And went on a nice hike... I am not a hippie, but I like the headbands... It was good to see her, and idaho!

On my way up to Idaho I spotted this picturesque house with a giant flag pole and a giant American Flag waving in the wind. It was so beautiful I had to risk it and take a picture while driving...i've never done that before...ahem... It's not the clearest picture, but you get the idea. :)

Here I am at melissa's wedding. I had to hold the train so it didn't drag in the water. Love being a bridesmaid. :)

Here are Cherese and I at Gibbs's wedding. It was so beautiful!

I got to hold the bride's beautiful boutque. Again, love being a bridesmaid. :)

Here's mom and I loving the wedding!

I watched 27 dresses the other day and was able to relate to it so much! haha! jk. I love being able to help out at all these weddings. They're some of my dearest friends. :)
So there you go, that's been my life the past month. Love you all!

pусалочка (the little mermaid)

and one of my favourite parts...

since receiving this in the mail thanks to wonderful netflix i have enjoyed multiple viewings watching with a grin ear to ear each time. i spent many nights as a wee one swooning over my complete works of Hans Christian Andersen and other classic fairy tales illustrating them (and on occasion drawing my own fairy tales: prince falls in love with serf girl, serf girl denies his affections, he relinquishes his crown for her love and labors hard in an effort to prove it, a mish-mash of all my favourites). in our sensible electronic age of "reality" and HD there are very few things that are capable of achieving such dreamy escapism. the story of the little mermaid has secured itself a special spot in my heart from watching this as a little girl, to this book (i to this day treasure) to the beloved disney version (which i naturally fancied as she was a ginger like me). that the hopelessly in love sea lady chose the prince's life over her own happiness has stayed sweet far longer than the happy ending of ariel and prince eric and taught me early a lesson in sacrifice (voice and life for love? what sixteen year old didn't entertain with the idea of giving either up for such a noble cause as love). my eyes are not wanting to stay open but before i head for my pillow i wanted to share with you another tragic sea lady, Ondine. my personal favourite is the ballet version but the Sleep of Ondine is pretty wonderful as well (though tragic in an entirely different, and quite adult, way). i apologize, i realize this whole post is tiresomely long and is probably now making slim sense due to sleep deprivation and hamburger induced coma. good night friends! enjoy the eye candy and sweet tails! ehehehe - tails.
