End of May Catch Up

Once again, I can't believe I went this long without posting! Life is just so hectic lately. I know that once this wedding is over I'm going to have to find a new hobby to take up all of my time. So let's play catch up shall we?

  • Our wedding is officially 5 weeks away! Oh my goodness I want to faint just typing those words! We have all of the big stuff done, but now it's just about the tiny details. (which there are a million of!) Right now I'm to the point where I just want to be married. I'm tired of stressing over every little thing. Sometimes I just have to take a step back and remember what this day is really about.

  • I only have 4 days left as a substitute teacher! Throughout my experience the last few months I have decided that education is definitely not for me. I do not have the patience and I admire all of those who do. Which brings me to my next point:

  • I finally got a solid job offer! I'll be entering the corporate world in July, after the wedding! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.

  • We had our first wedding shower May 21st. It was a couples shower in Gabe's home town. So much fun!
Clearly thrilled with the Razorback glasses we received!

Gabe's Mom, my Mom, my Nonnie, me, and my Step-mom

  • Tomorrow afternoon, the teachers and office staff at my Step-mom's school are throwing me a shower. I'm so excited about it!
  • Moving on from wedding talk, it's HOT here. Summer has definitely arrived in Arkansas. We spent our Memorial Day weekend lounging by the pool at my parents house. It was just what I needed!
  •  So I scheduled my first professional Microdermabrasion. I have only ever done at home microdermabrasion so I don't really know what to expect. Can anyone enlighten me?
  • I have some great new products to review soon! And *bonus*, they are all drugstore products! You know I can't resist a great budget beauty buy!
That's about it for me tonight. I have been all about going to bed early lately. I've seriously been in bed by 9:30 every night for the past two weeks. No complaints here! Have a good night!

Review of Garnier ''Sensitive eye make-up remover''!

Okay, I normally wouldn't make a review of something as booring as an eye make-up remover. But I just had, because this is the best that I've ever tried for sensitive eyes! If you're like me, having eyes that are basically burning while using an ''ordinary'' eye make-up remover, then you should definitely try this product. I've actually tried removers that are for sensitive eyes, but that are still burning. Now I've given up that endless search, because I've found this one from Garnier called ''Sensitive eye make-up remover''. It's just amazing!

Let me tell you why.. It removes your eye make-up so gently that it feels like it's basically made of 100 pre cent water, with out exaggerating! You don't feel any burning in your eyes at all(!) while removing your make-up with this appliance. And WOW, how rapidly it removes your eye make-up, it's just amazing! This is the best eye make-up remover for sensitive eyes that I've ever tried!!

Weekend Rundown

I hate going back into a normal week after having a long weekend. I love my long weekends, I just hate when they're over. I have a parade to choreograph today... I've been in parades my whole life, I've just never choreographed one. Luckily it's a tiny little city parade (the smallest one around too), so it won't be too big of a deal. My parents were able to visit this weekend from Arizona and it was so fun to have us all (minus my older sis) together for the weekend.

We spent Memorial day lounging around the house then eating at our favorite local burger joint. After which the parents and neighbors all played their favorite game of dominos while McKenna and I (younger sis) watched Bachelorette (AH! Love William and West) and the new Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition. It was super inspiring to see someone be so motivated and basically transform in one year.

My birtday (I will now be calling it birtday instead of birtHday since I messed up on my collage last night) is coming up in a couple of weeks and my family has started asking what I want. Well I already have a list going in my phone, but my mom asked for an actual list she could see. I went to type one up but the computer I have to use right now doesn't have Word... What computer doesn't have Word these days? So I used Notepad which printed weird, so I ended up cutting it up and making an UGLY collage at 1 am.

My list includes a necklace from the lovely Sarah's Etsy Shop. It has a fox on it, and foxes are my favorite animal (along with lions). Two pairs of Toms (striped and lace), new running shoes (Nike Frees of course!), Michael Kors Aviators, a tripod, and a memory card.

Of course I don't expect everything on this list, but they asked for things I've been wanting- so I give the people what they want. haha!

That's it for my weekend- thrilling, I know. Have a great day!!

P.S. My guest post with the chair tutorial is up. So check that out HERE.

P.P.S. We are FINALLY supposed to have an entire week of sunshine and warmth! JOY!
