We see Adrienne Bailon: Love the Hair Extensions

Whether singing our fave get ready for the club song Neva get Enough with 3LW or representing in Disney's The Cheetah Girls or front and center on our fave hair extensions reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians...Adrienne has always been on the Sunny'radar screen.

So we are loving her new waist length hair extensions she rocked in her Honey Magazine layout.

To achieve her long luscious curly hair extensions we'd use Indian Hair Natural Curl in 26" and allow the curls to dry with a little bit of Agadir Argan Oil and Curl Defining Product and allowing to dry with a diffuser.

Across the pond post: British Looks We Love

Girl's Aloud star Cheryl Cole is a color swapping diva and we love her long tousled hair any color she chooses.

Want to achieve her look...we'd recommend:

Sunny's Girls Out and About: Atlanta

Last night the Sunny's Girls attended a really great event hosted at Glambar. But was noteworthy was the celebrity manicurist Terrance Terry who was offering complimentary minx nails.

It was great to see so many of our Sunny's Clients out and about.

No need to reveal who they were....as we are all about discretion!!

We...however were representing Indian Hair to the fullest.

From left to right. Natural Wave Indian Hair in 18" and 20", Natural Curl Indian Hair in 22" and 26" Virgin Straight Double Drawn Indian Hair in 14" all styled by Metowi Willingham.

A Serious Unjustice!

So as many of you know, my kitty whiskas is in kitty heaven. (if you didn't know, scroll down to the post titled "kitty heaven")
My younger sis and I were both quite upset at his passing only to find out later that it wasn't his old age that took his life, it was in fact...murder... To save the face of those resposible, I will not disclose any who's what's when's where's or how's. But I will say this, they denied it only to be proven guilty!
they have since apologized and been forgiven...but that doesn't make for a good blog post... ;)
To show their remorse, they took Kenna out shopping for some new jeans etc! So lucky! I am in desperate need of some new jeans and thought maybe I'd be so lucky too....
WRONG.
I got a "grow in the water" pink cat...
At least it's pink right???
Welllll, I figured I'd make the best of the situation and document her growth then blog about it.
Here she is! All ready to be growd up!
Ready...Set...Grow!
As you can tell, this is just the begining...and I shall NEVER know how big she would have gotten (les and I were crossing our fingers that she'd get as big as our house and we could sled on her)...because... Someone has murdered pink grow in the water cat as well!!!!!! =*(

The only evidence I can find is the empty vace in the dishwasher...

WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO???
I didn't even get to say goodbye...

It's a serious unjustice and I have lost two pets with in two weeks... =*(
(please leave your condolence money which will go towards the cause of making gentri happy again with new jeans in the comments)

Strongest Woman Ever

Since I posted about kenna (sista and bestie) yesterday, I decided it was only right that I post about my other sista and bestie today. I love this person more than anything. She is so amazing and I am so lucky to be able to call her my sister. Yes, I am talking about the one and only Chablis.
Look at these parties! She can throw a party better and prettier than anyone I know! I only hope to one day have half of her hostessing and creativity skills.
She wears heels better than the best models. Even though sometimes the situation would have been better suited with some flat boots...
Here she is! Woman of the year! Love you!
And a perfect way to end with a picture of the 3 of us together. :) I am so blessed to have you two in my life!

Looks we Love: Vogue Evolution

We love Vogue Evolution on America's Best Dance Crew. And we loved how Leiomy Maldonado was representing the lace wig to the fullest on the ABDC episode. Even though we are a little late in posting it... better late than never.

Vogue Evolution is definitely a look we love. To recreate Leiomy Maldonado's recreation of Beyonce we'd recommend our Custom Lace Wig Briana in color 4/27/30 in 18"

Congratulations Ms. Universe

Venezuela once again represented for the Ms. Universe Pageant. We all know that no pageant would complete with out pounds of clip in hair extensions and baby oil gel!

Felicidades!

Roy? Roy?

So, one of my best friends (and sister) in the whole of forever has moved away to school. Good for her sad for me. :( We had a great time moving her stuff down and getting her all set for college life! But, I miss you Kenna Lee!
Kenna hurt her elbow...ouch. Here's her side of her dorm. They're quite small. She started to put things where she thought they should go, but I quickly took over and put them where they really needed to go, and made things cute. :D (thats my specialty!) Of course there's only so much you can do, and I couldn't take good pictures, so they're blury. Sorry.
When we graduate from high school, we get a home made quilt made by our dear mother. Isn't this one beautiful? I couldn't get a great pic because of the height of the bed...
Decorative pillows to complete her bed. Makes it more home-y right?
And one of the coolest things EVER! is this: It's a room difuser (makes it smell nice) and it (hold onto your chairs) CHANGES COLORS!!! SO amazing! Thanks from kenna to jeff. :)
So there you go. Kenna is having the time of her life already. :) Kenna, always remember to: Be honest and kind and good and true, In all that you say in all that you do (and follow the Prophet in all that you do) (and treat others how you want them to treat you) (and strive for exellence in all that you do). I want those repeat one ever day on your way to school! Just like we were raised to do!

garbage water on my walls

tyra and co would dismiss my "modeling" on account of my sole over the shoulder look, but surely i make up for it by smiling with my eyes? these are a few of my closet's (or rather, box of clothing behind a sliding door that i must dig through like a thrift shop to find my daily attire - must remedy this) new second-hand friends! the last headband is not done justice in that smirky photo, it is in fact a wonderfully severe velvet bow that points directly out (you can sort of make out it's form in the evening dress picture) and will be most excellent for this velvety holiday season. the pink velvet and satin headband above has a wonderful veil with rhinestones that make your face glitter and makes me feel shamelessly girly. these two headbands along with a good portion of my other hats were found at charming phoenix store Hollywood Regency, a spot i highly recommend for its beautiful vintage finds and cozy shopping experience.

summer is drawing to an end though you'd never guess it dripping your way around new york. it certainly eliminates any desire to cook and we are as a result on a diet of continual snacking, most delicious and sluggish of us. here is landon enjoying our most recent feast of snack while viewing some fine dining entertainment. i will have to have him model some of his newest attire when he has a moment to pull his nose out of harry potter. he is most handsome.

Buzz Worthy:Bronner Brothers International Hair Show

The world famous Bronner Brothers took place at the Georgia World Congress Centre this weekend. The Bronner Brothers Enterprise is one of the largest African American hair and skincare producers in the United States. Thousands of hairstylists, exhibitors and cosmetologists attended the show this year and put on an amazing display of their art. The Bohyme booth was amazing, it had life size mannequins displaying their hair, there was a whole row of lacefront wigs-it seemed to be a beauty supply. The stages were entertaining and came to life with mini hair shows. The show definately will kept me on my feet as I found myself wanting to see every exibitor and to buy all the good products that I have either run out of or just needed to stock up on. The show is definately an extravaganza and there is something for everybody to see.If you missed it this year be sure to visit next year.

ruth st. denis

my apologies for the blog neglect - landon has just returned home from a week long meditation retreat and i am presently on a buying trip in phoenix/la all of this week (and last). needless to say i am missing my honey and home terribly and eagerly anticipate our saturday morning reunion where i intend to spend the bulk of the day lounging around bed in minimal amounts of clothing (though breaking to "fashion show" my latest vintage acquisitions, three months on strict budget has left our closet neglected but i've made up for it tenfold having spent just one day rummaging around phoenix antique malls and thrift stores). august is flying by and each passing day has me more and more excited at an autumn in new york. fall is my favourite season for dressing and i am eagerly anticipating donning hats, gloves, capes, socks and eating a variety of pumpkin flavoured goodies. what are you looking forward to wearing (or eating) this fall?

Zero To Hero!

Here we have one of my dance classes summer performance! :D I was super excited about this dance because, as you would have guessed, it's to a disney song! haha! They did a great job, expecially for still being so young. And while it still had it's glitches (gotta love summer for that), I still can't help but watch it over and over.

I promised one of them I'd post it on here so she could see it. So, here you go! Enjoy!

Product Spotlight: Nioxin Scalp Renew

Ladies... we all know how addictive hair extensions can be. It seems like the longer you have them in the more you really believe that it is your hair. But guess what...it's not.

Underneath your hair extensions lie a scalp deeply in need of stimulation and cleansing. So we have discovered a product that we can't live without. Nioxin's Scalp Renew is a micro-dermabrasion treatment for your scalp. The use of enzymatic exfoliants lift sebum and dirt that clog your pores on your scalp and allow it to properly product collagen.

In simple terms it makes your scalp tingle and is the ultimate facial for your scalp allowing you to have healthy hair.

By taking care of your scalp you can ensure that you will be able to wear your hair extensions and still have healthy hair.

Salty Meteors

As many of you know, there was a spectacular meteor shower last night (tonight and tomorrow night as well). I've always wanted to see a meteor shower but can't seem to stay awake until 2am (prime time for meteors) or it's been cloudy. So when I heard the best meteor shower of the year was this week I had to do something about it. One mass text later and we've got a group of us who are up for adventure! (whit, erika, steve and stephen, micah, tanner, kenna, and I. Troopers for sure!)
All we had to do next was figure out somewhere to see it from. We wanted to pick the prime spot. Away from city lights, and the mountains so we had a big open sky.

Then it came...THE SALT FLATS! None of us had ever been before, and we quickly learned that they're two hours away...so it was definately turning into an adventure to remember.

We decided it was worth it, loaded up on blankets and pillows and started our journey at 11pm. Kinda late to start a 2 hr trip...yes. But super fun!
We found a perfect spot and camped out. Of course, it being named the salt flats and all, we wondered...is it really salty? We found a quick and easy solution to that question. And yes, it is very salty.

Wendover...almost

This is the best picture I could get of the salt flats on my camera so late at night.
After a enjoying the wonderful show, it was time to head home. So we started our drive back at 5am... Luckily, being the driver and all, I got to watch the sunrise as everyone slept. It was just the perfect way to end a spectacular universal show. :) Of course followed by french toast for breakfast.
