Paris Hilton Sedu hair

Sedu hairstyle is one of the shortest hair trend in 2009. Women with short hair can use sedu hair irons to create amazing sedu hairstyles. Even celebrities feel proud to wear these hairstyles. Sedu hair is really staright for which a hair straightening serum is used if your hair is curly or wavy.To get the best sedu hair, the hair must be blow dried evenly. Towel dry the hair and apply a heat protecting serum. With the sedu hairstyles, you will be able to take the hair to new lengths and it will be straighter than it has ever been before.

Thursday Thoughts

Hello gang! Like true Durbanites, a bunch of us have decided to go to the July at the last minute. Despite writing a post about what to the wear the July, I myself have nothing to wear - and it's on Saturday! My floral dresses are simple cotton one's I've worn to death and I know I will feel totally drab in them at the July. I would wear my Miss Molly Skirt but I think I need something longer or looser 'cuz I plan on taking a zillion pics and I want to be able to crouch down on the grass to get shots of turf flying etc. I do have a floral alice band from Mr P but that probably means hundreds of girls will be wearing the same one - irrrk! I'm so tired today, I actually just feel like wearing my new flat brogues on Saturday. Totally unJuly but I will be the plainest albeit comfiest gal there! Speaking of the July, I had my hair cut yesterday and afterwards I had a perusal round the mall. I didn't see a single store merchandising July outfits in their windows. I'm sure there are plenty of girls dashing around at the last minute looking for ideas and I can't imagine why the stores aren't taking advantage of this. Is it just me? Have you seen any obvious July inspiration around town? While my outfit may not be July-worthy, I do plan on photographing everyone else's so expect a mega post next week! 'Till then, have a goodie and see on Saturday if you're going. Fingers crossed it's sunny!

Working out with your Weave

We heard the best news we have heard in years the other day.  Two women were in our Atlanta store and we overheard the following:

" My friend just got this Indian Hair months ago and she lost 140 pounds."

      " How?"

" She started working out, she got a full head weave with the Curly Indian Hair and she just started shedding the weight."

It was music to our ears.  Hair extensions really can change your hair...change your life.  By finding a low maintenance style that allows women to get on the treadmill, balance ball or swim you can transform your body and health.

  • If you are looking to shed some weight or meet your fitness goals we definitely recommend Curly Indian Hair with a full head sew in.  This allows all of your hair to be gently sewn away and with a textured bob with soft bangs you can push yourself to the limit and not worry about ruining your hairstyle.
  • For ladies who can't quite commit to a full head sew in, consider getting a weave with Indian Hair that is the same length or a little longer than your hair with just a 1/4 inch of hair left out along the perimeter and at the crown.
  • If you must leave more hair out than you should consider the latest craze of Brazilian Keratin Treatment.  This frizz reducing fortifying treatment allows for stronger hair that won't frizz at the first sign of sweat or water without permanently altering the hair structure.  BKT also protects the hair in the braids while you are working out.

Well friends, I'm taking the plunge! Starting a business is proving quite a costly venture and I have an insatiable desire for cheese but cannot presently afford to cram my noggin full of the stuff (perhaps for the best as dairy and belly do not always agree). If you run a business dealing in handmade or vintage attire and are interested in advertising I would love to hear from you! I promise you readers that I will be especially selective and wont be participating in any kind of sneaky advertising.

Emo Girls Hair long Image

Emo Girls Hair long Image

Emo broke into mainstream culture in the early 2000s with the platinum-selling success of Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional and the emergence of the subgenre "screamo". In recent years the term "emo" has been applied by critics and journalists to a variety of artists, including multiplatinum acts and groups with disparate styles and sounds.

The emo subculture is cool,If you straighten it often, then use heat defense shampoos and sprays to keep your hair healthy. If your hair is wavy just use hair gel to keep it down! Remember that people can have curly hair. if you use a razor, get a bit of your hair, twist it, then slide the razor down, then bits of hair will come out and your hair will become thin.

Emo Hairstyle Edition 2010

Like many other popular hair styles, emo hair began as a trend seen in the music industry. those who had little interest in "fitting in" with the traditional cliques. The music is arguably targeted at teenagers who are going through rough patches in life.

If you have ever noticed minutely about the various styles and fashions of emo people, you must have observed that there are couples of standard characteristics and styles not only in emo hairstyles but also in other aspects such as emo clothes, emo shoes, emo tattoos and emo fashion accessories. Emo girls look really cute and lovely in emo hairstyles that are done with lighter shades of green or blue. Many a times, emo boys and girls go for loose and funky hairstyles without any restraints.

News Flash! Finally, Paris Hilton with a GOOD Weave!

I figured that heading would get your attention LOL. I was doing my usual browsing of the web, looking mostly for pictures of bad celebrity hair, and lo and behold, I stumbled upon this picture of a barely recognizable Miss Paris Hilton. Gaaasssp! While her extensions still look a bit "extension-y" in this picture, I must say that this is the best I have seen her hair looking. Ever. Did I say...EVER??! Paris looks absolutely lovely in this picture; very girl-next-door, and wholesome, like you would let her babysit your kids. Obviously I'm joking. I mean, let's not forget, this is Paris Hilton. I don't even think Nicole Richie would let her babysit little Rumrunner Raisin and MazdaSweetsummer-Springandfall. But her hair looks great in this pic, and that to me, is newsworthy! Miss MyMy gives Paris 4 MyMyMyMy's out of 5.

Fall Fashion That Won't Break the Bank

I'm sure by now I've made it clear that I wish it was fall. I'm tired of the heat and so over my summer clothes. I've been browsing lately for some fall clothes that are within my budget. How wonderful does dark skinny jeans with a super soft cardigan sound to ya'll? Ugh! I'm dying here! I tried to wear jeans to class today and almost passed out on my 4 min. walk from my car to class. And it was only 9 am. By the time I got back to my apartment around 1 today I was feeling anything but attractive. So without further ado, the start of my fall wishlist. I'm sure I will be adding to it over the next few months :)

I'm loving this adorable lightweight trench from Victoria Secret. What I love even more is the price tag. Only $68.00. Perfect for rainy, cool fall days.
This lightweight navy blue dress from BCBGMAXAZRIA is on sale at Nordstroms for $149.90. Marked down from $228.00. I think it's the perfect transition piece. Wear now as it is and throw a cardigan over it in the fall. In Arkansas you could probably get away without wearing anything over it until mid-October.

Anthropologie black cardigan. $98. It's a classic.

Since we can still get away with wearing short sleeves during fall in the south, I love finding tops that are dressed up and come in a fall/winter color. I would love to wear this Anthropologie top with jeans and heels to class or a casual night out. $78.00

This navy blue blazer from Ruche would look great with skinny jeans and a tank. Only $44.99!

Gorgeous scarf from Ruche. $14.99. Doesn't it just scream fall?

Ruche white cotton cardigan. $32.99. It just makes me want to cuddle :)

Hurry up fall! I can smell the pumpkin scented candles and tailgating already. :)
Hope ya'll are having a lovely week. I'm so ready for this weekend!! Hopefully the next two days will fly by!

The Lonely Doll

If you've not heard of Dare Wright it is my great pleasure to introduce you to her. Known best as the dreamy author of "The Lonely Doll" series she was also a photographer, painter, model, actress, seamstress, carpenter, stylist and beloved daughter of portrait painter Edith Stevenson Wright (a relationship not unlike The Beales in Grey Gardens). There are no words I could write here that would do her memory any justice so if you don't mind I'll just direct you here to read about this extraordinary woman!

Gorgeous New Hairstyles Fresh-picked from the runways and the red carpet.

Take sections from behind your ears, wrap around your head (twist in the center, if you’d like) and bobby pin. So chic!

Sleek up your cropped cut

None of that shaggy bedhead this season—short hair is polished and sexier than ever. Mist shine spray onto your palms and lightly run them over your hair to give it a high gloss.

Go to new heights!

Try this dramatic Audrey Hepburn-ish style for a major event. First, tease hair like crazy. Now take a section, pull it to the back of your head, roll under so it poufs up and pin. Do your whole head, smooth with a brush, add hairspray and slip on a thin band.

Do a better ballerina bun

A high knot is too little-girl; keep it below your crown. Gather hair, twist the tail, coil, tuck in the ends and pin.

Add some extras!
Three gorgeous ways to dress up your hair this season: bright barrettes, bold-print scarves and pretty jeweled pins.

Go for a glam pony

The trick to giving yours this smooth-as-glass look: Flat-iron your tail.

Define your part

There’s nothing wrong with a messy line, but a neat, clean, done-with-an-actual-comb one looks so crisp and fresh now. To do it, make your part when hair’s damp; smooth on gel; let dry.

Try a fresh twist

For the first look, brush hair smooth, loop your ponytail up and pin the ends under. For the others, leave those ends sticking out.

Add a flowery accent.

Try blossoms on a headband—an update on that old bloom-in-hair thing. Shopstyle.com has a huge selection.

Do face-framing swoops.
Don’t Natalie’s look so pretty?

Think half sleek…
Use a flatiron to straighten hair, clip it in the back and fluff it up

…or pouf the crown.
Tease up and down with a comb; pin.

Try a dressy pony.
An exceptionally smooth one (use gel) with hair around the elastic is elegant—not at all workout-y.

Go low.
Sweep hair to the side so it dips over an eye.

Be a body builder.Get Charlize’s heft, even if hair is thin, by twirling it with a big round brush as you blow-dry

Clip hair at your nape.
Then let it casually fall forward over your shoulders. Offset it with statement earrings.

Pin back bangs.
Back-comb for height.

Work contrasting color.
Mary’s revelatory blond-over-brown bob deserves an award or something. (Just see a pro for complex color like this.)

Fake a short cut.
Use a curling iron to create chic ringlets, gather at the back, tuck length up and under and pin.

Get all edgy-sweet.
Piecey bangs plus a braid gets you schoolgirl gone bad.
Make a top braid.
Starting one at the front of your hair, not the back, keeps it fresh

Borrow from a ballerina.
No, it’s not exactly breakthrough, but it’s amazing how a sleek bun is so sexy every time.
