Goodies from Jozi, thank you me

During my little swaray in Jhb I bought a few nice things for myself. They were all pretty cheap and cheerful until I hit the airport but more about that a little further down.

In this pile of loot, we have:

• A big old bow from Claire’s.
• Miniature cupcakes cases from a shop in Sandton City. I tried making mini cupcakes once and they were a flop to say the least. My cases collapsed as I put the mixture into them but my weakness for all things miniature drove me to by these anyway.
• A miniature (what did I tell you?) plastic Kit Kat and a neck scarf from Deer Hunter. It’s way too hot to be wearing neck scarves in Durban so I thought I might tie it around my brown lookalike Birkin bag. What I am going to do the KitKat, I don't know. Try not to eat it, I guess.
• We also have an Earl Grey teabag in a box from Lulu’s
• And an Alice band, owl ring and anchor bracelet from the Accessorize - in the airport.

I don’t know what it is about Acessorize’s in airports but I am drawn to them like a moth to a flipping flame. I kind of go ‘Well I’m on holiday, why not swipe just one more thing and treat myself to something pretty, after all, I AM ON HOLIDAY! And that is it – the getaway budget is blown on the last leg home. But I don't mind really because I find that anything from Accessorize tends to last plus, I feel happy knowing I have a little something from London around my wrist. Please don't tell me they're made in China. They are, aren't they? Ah well.
